NO TOXIC WASTE DUMP!!!

Post: # 45731Post kanga »

Hi everyone,
It's an exciting day in the Sunraysia Region...today the 'Brack's Government' decided to abandon the proposed toxic waste dump at Hattah/Nowingi national park....This may not mean much to anyone else on the forum, but it certainly means a lot to the people of this region. It's been stronlgly opposed for the past 3 years, mainly due to the proximity to the Murray River and the fruit/wheat/and wine making region of Sunraysia. Environmentally it's a great day...! They are now saying they are going to look into REDUCING industrial waste instead!!!! Why they didn't look into this in the 1st place I do not know... But for the food bowl alliance and the public at large it's a big WIN!!!! YIPPEE  Have to go now there is a twenty/20 cricket match being televised live from the S.C.G between the English and the Aussies....it's a very exciting match....Have a great day all :flower:
