Hello from Another NEEP migrant

Post: # 45829Post Sassinak »

Hi, heard about the forum through neeps and here I am.
Presently animal free except for 2 blue merle border collies and a cat.
Converting a steading (Scottish barn) into a house. Will have a ground source heat pump and underfloor heating. Hoping to install a 5 or 6 Kw turbine next year to run the heat pump. Will be asking questions about this set up before long :-D

Have 5.5 acres of land and have many plans for it once we have a house to live in (My husband has strange priorities like that  )

Made a start on a 1.5 acre garden with flower beds, lawn and raised beds for veg, although most of the lawn is about to disappear into the hole for the geothermal slinky pipes !!

Its actually a dual purpose name.

I'm from Yorkshire originally - been up here 13years now.

The name and spelling are also the title of a book by one of my favourite authors Anne McCaffrey
