Hello everybody!

Hello everyone, long time lurker new time poster!

I live in Norwich and am still fairly new'ish' to the self sufficiency thing. I'm a fairly decent mushroomer around the local woods, and am looking forwards to the weather improving later in the year to try and get some other wild foods. I'm currently digging up half my garden to have a go at growing some veg for the first time this year. I'm also a bit of a homebrewer and make more than my fair share of meads, beers and wines.

Sorry if that sounded a bit like a CV! Always difficult to know what to say on things like this. Anyway must go as it seems one of my dogs is attacking my christmas tree behind me.

Cheers

Tom

Thanks for the welcome everyone,

Kanga - Yep, very much looking forwards to growing my own veg this year, can't help but feel very ameteurish when I peek over the fence to see my neighbours beautifully prepared beds ready for spring - mind you he must have about 50 years gardening experience on me so I shan't worry too much!

Andy - Norwich is a great place, gettin a bit fed up of city living though, grew up in rural Essex so I'd love to escape to the Norfolk countryside eventually.

Shirlz - I wouldn't profess to be any kind of expert on homebrew, I just love bein able to have a nice tipple for pennies! (not that I'm tight or anything :)) :drunken:
