Another Newbie from NZ

Hi,

Well, I live in Auckland (yeah, I know) in the city. Not really able to do that much in the way of self sufficiency. I'm curently planning to put in a vege garden and a few fruit trees and so forth. We bought our house about 2 years ago, but we've had to do a lot to fix it up, which has drained the bank somewhat, and we dont have a lot of space. Currently planning a new garage and deck, but dont know how long its going to take to complete them both.

Currently I'm trying to grow a few capsicums, some are doing quite well but the rest are still struggling.

Living in West Auckland (yeah I know, its worse than Auckland itself!)

Gotta get our new garage built and then the new deck, and then a million other things before we get that far. We bought a house and have been renovating and fixing things up, which has so far also cost a bomb. My OH wants a nice landscaped garden, little does he know I'm planning my vege patch already! Still months away from planing though.
