Martin, you've saved my Christmas. D h inherited an absolute stack of 78's from his nanna and our rafters are positively groaning with the weight. And he can't wait to hear some of them I think that I have discovered what he can have for Christmas now (maybe I should wait until I've seen the price before I say that eh? lol!)

www.tchibo.co.uk have record players in their home shopping catalogue for £55 plus P&P

No idea if they are any good though.
