Hello everyone

Post: # 41509Post chutney-ferret »

Hello
I live in a small town in North Devon. I try to be selfsufficientish in an ordinary terrace house and a badly laid out garden, amongst an ordinary life. I think this site looks great and I'm looking forward to sharing lots of the frugal and selfsufficientish things I've worked out over the years, and learning lots from other people.

Hi from Aberdeenshire.

And you'd better be careful - the Other Half and I had a terraced house, a badly laid out garden and an ordinary life. Then we turned around twice, clicked the ruby slippers and next thing we knew we had 7 acres, two boys, eight pigs, 35 chickens, 33 visiting sheep and a distinctly non-ordinary life!

ahh, don't misunderstand me, this 'ordinary life' is the one I've clicked my ruby slippers for! My mission is to try and be selfsufficientish within it. And I do already have 2 boys and 3 chickens

Hi C.F.
You`re right - if everybody had an idyllic half acre with views of paradise there`d be no room on the earth - sadly.
I have a suburban semi but try hard to be SSish.
You`ll find lots of friends and support here. The accent is on `ish`.
Welcome!
