Other people's values (after LSP's MIL rant in the flowers)

Could quite appreciate LSP's MIL rant - I too have a MIL who nods and appears to be listening to what you say regarding the coming commercial landfill-fest, then opens a catalogue from a cheap toy shop and says "Oh look, this piece of enormous plastic that you have no room for and probably was made by exploited child workers is only xxx£, shall I get it for Arthur?" (I'm paraphrasing).

Other people's values - they make it very difficult when you try to "do your bit".
