Took the boy out with me, girl hates the wind and screams, to catch the chooks early as the had taken up refuge in another barn. Got them to bed and shut away.
Took a journey up the hill to assess the running water situation, my door is below road level and down hill so too much and I go swimming. Road workers have down a good job with cambering it correctly and digging drainage shoots as at the top this is a fast flowing 3 inch deep river flowing but none near me, just had re open a couple of shoot using my feet to clear the silt.
Electric fine but what a disaster, satellited link gone down so can't watch the horror channel!!!
TV reception is not good with out it.
