Business Scam

I received this notification of a scam by via email from my local chamber of commerce.

East Sussex Trading Standards have received a number of complaints from
local businesses about a business called "Ufindus" offering a range of
services, including a prominent position for your business on Google
searches, and other telephone and internet services.
If anyone has agreed to enter into contract with this company within the
last few days and wishes now to cancel the contract, you can do so
within 5 working days by contacting them on: 0870 757 6600.
Anyone experiencing problems in cancelling, please let us know so we can
inform the Trading Standards service for Glasgow where the business is
based.
Please also note that in contracts of this nature there are no statutory
cancellation rights, so before agreeing to anything following
cold-calling of this nature you are well advised to do some research
rather than be hurried into anything. In this case for instance, and
ironically given the nature of the service they offer, there is a great
deal of information available through a simple Google search that would
probably make you think twice about using them. See link:

I had those b****rs on the 'phone! - VERY pushy, got most upset when I asked why the hell I'd want to appear in a directory I'd never even heard of! (especially as I've done everything in my power to get removed from every internet and mail spam lists)

just tried out their search engine
bunged "chocolate teapot" in - it came back with "chocolate fountains"
tried "wind turbines" - it found "windscreen specialists"
watch out Google!
