tomato seeds

If i remove the seeds from the inside of a tomato do i just need to leave them to dry and they will be ready for planting next year or do i have to treat them in any particular way to be able to grow them next year?

The tomatoes are a few i have left over from a home grown plant that was bought as a tiny plant from the garden centre.

I scoop them out on to kitchen paper and leave them to dry. it makes them easier to handle as you can then peel them off the paper or rip of the paper and plant that as well

You're supposed to stick seeds and goop in water and let it ferment, you get a better strike rate I believe!

I do use the kamperchat forum from time to time
