Hello from France (again)...

We love hearing from you, so here is your chance. Introduce yourself and tell us what makes you selfsufficient 'ish'. Go on don't be shy, we welcome one and all. You can also tell us how you heard about us if you like.

Hello from France (again)...

Post: # 37440Post lindysman »

Hi everyone,
We were recommended to this site by our son "adekun," a relatively newcomer also. Glad to see we're not alone in France. We're living in a gite at the moment while we are waiting for our house purchase in l'Ebeaupin near Pindray to go through. We have a sizable amount of land that we wish to eventually make full use of and grow our own, something we have been unable to do when we lived in the UK. Going fully self sufficient is probably a long way off, but we intend to follow it as far as we can.

Chadspad - I had a variety of jobs at Simon Aerials before they closed, then after a few bit 'n' bobs returned to Thetford at Atkins.

Cheapandcheery - we are eventually going to be about 70 Kilometres east of you, we both like a drink too..... :drunken:

We do get quite a few people from France on here I think I might be right in saying that you are the first parents of a member that have joined. Your family are a family of firsts then  Welcome to the site.

Welcome lindysman, its a great site!

Atkins eh? I used to go out with Gary warrington for years - in the days when he first started there. My hubby was just round the corner at Perrys and now your about 2 1/2 hours away from us - mad.

Thanks for the replies everyone....

Chadspad - If I were you, I'd keep quite about Gary Warrington. No, seriously, he's a good bloke and still working there.
If you'd like to PM us, we'd like to keep in touch....[/i]
