Hello from Fraserburgh
Hello from Fraserburgh
Hi everyone.
We moved up to our 8 acre holding here in deepest Aberdeenshire in February. That's me (54), the boss (37) and little boy and girl (5 and 4).
We currently have 2 dogs, 2 cats, 7 Barred Plymouth Rock hens, a bantam Cock and hen (currently sitting on eggs), 3 Saanen nanny goats (one milking, one resting and one 8 months old) and 3 large white sows (fattening nicely).
I work from home doing technical editing and organising exhibitions and providing marketing services and doing the school run etc; the boss now works for Aberdeenshire Council.
Moving to Aberdeenshire has been one of the best decisions ever - we have no regrets whatsoever and couldn't be happier here.

Welcome to SSish!
We might both be in Aberdeenshire, but we are half a daytrip apart...
I'm in the deepest south. Sounds great, your set-up. One of these days I'll have a dairy goat, too - milking would be a bit too much of a bind at the moment.
