Anyone tempted by island life?

Post: # 35952Post Stonehead »

Families wanted for tiny island

Unfortunately, there's nothing that I could find on the National Trust for Scotland website about this and no details of the two properties or how much the rent would be.

I think we get the message!

I'd be tempted to, but the OH has just started a new job and I'm not sure if we'd be able to take the pigs with us.

Maybe next time...

very tempted indeed - as long as they let us tow the island down out of the permafrost, and park it by the Scillies!

ME TOO - ME TOO - ME TOO!
However, don`t suppose they`d consider a retired couple to be a family eh?
Perhaps if I brought some of the grandchildren with me? - - thought not! :(

Actually, I only posted that once, and I have no idea why it posted three times. Makes me look rather enthusiastic, though

On the down side to the idyllic island living is the school situation. Primary school will on the island but I doubt secondary school will be which means whole terms were the kids are on the mainland in 'accommodation' and dependant on the weather as to if they can return home in the holidays.
