A few weeks ago I got a tiny tim tomato plant from the market.
It is about three inches tall and is flowering.
Why would that be? And would it still produce fruit?
And is there anyway to save it?

Hi Sesame
I'm not sure... I know they are dwarf plants but that seems very tiny!! Perhaps someone else will have some more info.

While not quite that small, my tomato plants were severely stunted this year and weren't flowering. On Monday, I started pulling out the stakes and getting ready to pull them out, but was distracted by a wee boy.
I went out to resume the job today and discovered several flowers. Must have been the threat of violence!
So I'm going to leave them in the hope of getting a few green tomatoes for chutney. Slim hope, but you never know.
