Why hello there you!

We love hearing from you, so here is your chance. Introduce yourself and tell us what makes you selfsufficient 'ish'. Go on don't be shy, we welcome one and all. You can also tell us how you heard about us if you like.

Why hello there you!

Post: # 35044Post dormant374 »

Hi, not sure how self sufficient I am at the moment, seeing as I still seem to buy most everything I use in shops, but it's something I'm interested in.

My name's Joe, and I'm a 21 year old guy living in a caravan in West Wales with my :cat: and partner (Not my cat/partner, they're seperate entities). I have a veggie patch (always untended and full of weeds), a recycling bin and a head full of half-baked schemes to make the place more 'eco friendly', which I try to implement inbetween work and study.

I've been lurking around here for a week or so, but I figured why not join. So I did. Hi.

Good morning Joe. Are you a travelling man, or is it a static caraven? I've visited Pembrokeshire a few times. In fact I was paddling in the sea at Whitesands Bay when the new millenium was rung in (what a wild life I lead).

Anyway, we like half-baked schemes here - they seem infinitely better than some of the fully-baked schemes we see, so welcome.

Hi Joe

:welcomeish: What does your partner think about being listed after the cat

Glad that you joined, and I'm looking forward to hearing all about the half-baked schemes... they are often the best ideas anyway

Thanks for the welcomes!

It's a static caravan, but without running water (until I figure that one out). My travelling is done in a clapped out Austin Metro.

My partner pouted about being second, but the cat was sitting on me when I wrote my last post so I had to appease him first, or I'd get mauled.

I'll post any half baked schemes for your opinions!

Welcome Joe

I am sure half baked is better than nothing! I had great aspirations in the middle of the night to clear out my greenhouse as my job for today......and have I? You bet I haven't! I stayed in the dry and made soup.

There's always tomorrow. :flower:
