little unknown fact about birds custard the inventor of birds custard made it for his wife as she loved custard but was illergic to eggs. So it is quite a romantic custard as it was invented for love.

illergic?? is that a cross between her getting ill from eggs and being allergic to them?
My guilty pleasures are crack cocaine and whisky - Only joking about the crack
It would have to be pizza and Mars ice-cream although not together.
Me and my housemate kept nicking them off another housemate (the mars ice-cream) and putting I O U notes in the box. After the box was empty we starting the same thing again. A month and three boxes later we realised the origional box belonged to someone who'd moved out weeks before.
You going soft Andy?So it is quite a romantic custard as it was invented for love.

ROFLMAO!!
You've just reminded me... when I was pregnant with my now 12 year old... I was addicted to mars bars... and we used to buy a box at a time from Makro.... they had a competition where you could win ice cream mars bars if you got a lucky label... out of a box of 48 I had 12 free ice cream mars bars which I thought was pretty good going.
Not surprisingly... I HATE mars bars and the associated ice cream nowadays...

Very, very good single malts - Caol Ila, then Bunnahabain and Bruichladdich. Now reduced to birthday treats only - and then only if I can find someone rich enough and friendly enough to treat me!
Fish and chips - I'd prefer them properly made, but even the stuff from the local chippie can be acceptable if you've spent 12 hours working flat out and really, really don't want to cook dinner as well. So, send the OH out for a few fish suppers, pour a pint of cider, and collapse in a heap. But at £12 for all of us, you're talking 40% of our weekly grocery budget on one meal! So, another rare treat.
And finally, dinner at the local pub and a few quiet drinks afterwards. It's more than three years since we last went to the pub, so also a rare treat. I almost put dinner at a restaurant, but I've almost forgotten what they're like - the last time was when the OH and I got married and took our two witnesses to lunch as a thank you! That was quite a while ago.
