Laugh now...go on...before i ask teh question, but i want the answer!!

Right, my mother said that she was told amny years ago that there was a way to pasteurise milk by giving the cow a tablet.

I always thought pasteurisation was the heating of the milk to a sufficient temeprature so that the bacteria were killed.

But then...science was never my strong point.

Who is correct? heat or tablet?

I gotta go with heat too, unless the tablet was an antibiotic perhaps, but strictly speaking that is not pasteurisation!
