You'd be surprised the amount of folk who do.

My Mum is a classic example. She's convinced that if someone has taken the time to phone her, it is only polite to call them back.

She always thinks she's won something on those free scratchcards as well. She's spent a small fortune calling the Winning Prize Number and sending off her P&P for her Spcial Winners Surprise.

Get an answering machine! Mine's set on answer all the time - I rarely can get to the phone in time - that's if I even hear it because I'm so often outside! It's amazing how many 'people' call but don't leave messages.

We have that BT Answer thing. Actually I keep meaning to change it to a proper machine - so I don't have to keep paying BT their fees.
