(please note that the Andy & Emma mentioned in the text are not the Andy & Emma of SSISH fame)

OrganicARTS is working with West Town Farm to raise awareness of rural issues through art and education activities

The sunflowers are opening and can be bought at the Farm Gate shop along with West Town new potatoes!

The farm has joined an RSPB project to increase insect diversity by managing the range of grass height.

Viv Goodings ran a solar powered shower weekend and also transformed one of the farm outbuildings. We now have a shower room! Thanks Viv! A mini reed bed system is coming next to deal with waste water.

Site Updates Find out about the artists in 9 Days of Art here. These pages are being updated on a regular basis as the art work developes.

We are in the middle of a summer program of outreach work at Exeter City Council's Playdays. Find out how the first one went!

The Diary has information about Family Bushcraft Days, the Playdays sessions and 9 Days of Art

Visit the Explore Section. This is all about exploring what is happening on the Farm. It has some beautiful photographs from Tom Allsopp, Organic Occupation, Duncan Speakman's sound trail 10 Walks and a visit to Emma's Bakery. More to come later!

Andy has added some more information about Organic Farming and Countryside Stewardship at West Town Farm.

Check the Archives We had a very interesting residency with Duncan Speakman who created a sound trail 10 Walks which can be downloaded from the Explore Pages.

An Exhibition of environmental interventions and installed artworks focussed on work being developed in response to the farm over a long period of time. Find out more by visiting here.

Sara Bor's Earth Horse brought back memories of a farming past. Find out more by visiting the Project Page .

The Spring Open Day saw over 250 people visiting West Town Farm. Click here for pictures of the event.

It's on the link from the main page of organic arts but here you go....

http://www.organicarts.org.uk/eventsopenday.html

I didn't go... it's not my neck of the woods. Just found it and thought that folk down there might find it of interest.

Perhaps not the best copy and paste I ever did
