Tis with great joy I return from the evils of concrete yard land to a house with a garden! I was around before when I had a garden, and with help from people here I made my own compost and grew some very lovely veggies.
However, now we've bought our own house we're also looking at improving the environmental factors of the house as well as the garden (which to be frank, I've given up on until next year as we need to spend time on other stuff - like having a kitchen ceiling - before we tackle that!)
Anyway, I'm looking forward to picking as many brains as I can find and dealing with the house I have and making it better!
Take care,
Sarah

Inside the heart of each and every one of us there is a longing to be understood by someone who really cares. When a person is understood he or she can put up with almost anything in the world. by Rev Hird

Hello Sarah.
King's Lynn is in a lovely corner of the world - I spent several years living on the outskirts twenty odd years ago, and have happy memories of it. I always had half a plan to move back one day, but property prices here have put an end to that - and I don't suppose anybody there would remember me anyway. Spent one summer working as an ice cream man, working out of a depot in West Lynn. And for 20p you could get a 'ferry' (ie, a 12' boat with an outboard motor) across the river. And I got my back view on the main TV news once when I went to heckle Margaret Thatcher.
Blimey, how the memories are stirred.
Are you in the town itself?
