we live in the sticks - grow some of our own veg and trying to buy a place of our own, want to do lots of s-ish things... learning as we go
Hope to get lots of advise here!

well, we did try to buy another house earlier in the year and it fell thru, and that meant suddenly we had to rush to get veg into the garden of our current place... but we have got courgettes, vegetable spagetti, pumpkins and sweetcorn, have picked red, white and blackcurrents (1 bush each) and tomatoes in the greenhouse - gardeners delight and plum. oh and some herbs about the place. plants have been struggling in the dry heat - and i tend not to water them apart form those in greenhouse, but had to break my moral plans on that and give them a little. now its rained a couple of days and courgettes have appeared out of nowhere - pumpkins are massive too - planted where a compost heap was...Chickpea wrote:Hi, Red. Nice to meet you. What veg are you growing, and how is it coming along in the dry weather?
