Small holding share

Post: # 247059Post Awne »

Im not sure if Im putting this in the right place but anyway.....My partner and I have split up but are still living together for now. He plans to look for somewhere else after xmas. My house is a 4 bed stone cottage with an acre of land and 7 stone stables on a stable yard in various states of repair (we have only lived here 3 months) I rent the house and land and will be looking for someone to share with me. they will have 2 bedrooms and a living room of their own and shared kitchen and bathroom. Ideally they would help with/share the animals (chickens, ducks, pigs, goats) and help with the land, stables etc. There is room for growing stuff but havent sorted that bit out yet. The share of rent including bills will be around £500 per month. I was just wondering if people would be interested in this kind of thing. Im in the North east of England near Darlington in a village of 5 houses and no bus route for 3 miles so must be a driver.

Sorry to hear of your break up Awne. Hope you're OK with it all.

Sounds like a fantastic opportunity for someone - hopefully soon!

but how about using helpx or wwoof, to get things going and get at least help. I know its not what you are looking for but the amount of work is also something to take into account.
hugs and strength to you!

Hi Patrick and welcome to Ish.

This is a really old thread, unlikely to get much interest. You'll probably get more of a response if you start a new thread and tell us a bit about yourself and your plans.

Why not make a new post, outlining a few of your ideas and how you think it might work
