Tomatoes.
Tomatoes.
Hi. My tomato plants are huge and in fine fettle. I have been growing them on a window sill inside the house.
Tomorrw, we are going away for a week so they won't get watered.
Do you think I should put them outside so there is the hope of rain for them?

Sorry no solution for you, just a question I need answering.
We started our tomatoes in a propagater and when they were too big we transferred them in to the soil in our garden, we also planted one in a large pot of compost and this is the largest of all, the others are rather small and weak looking. The question I have is, they all have little black flies and what look like eggs on them, I've posted pics of the hopeful one. Do we need the get rid of these flies and eggs, if so, how would you suggest we do this?

possibly aphids, which won't do much to the plants unless you get a heavy infestation, but they do spread virus disease.
