My husband's been brewing his own beer for a few years, but I've only had a few experiments in wine and infusions. A couple of years ago I made some lovely blackcurrent vodka, and the elderberry wine is just coming into its own now.
This year I thought I'd make some elderflower cordial (turrned out beautiful) and elderflower champagne... disater

I also made some rhubarb wine a few months back. That's developed a ring of (for want of a better word) skum in the neck of the demijohn. I'm just really hoping that's not ruined too. I'll post a pic of the demijohn later so you can see if I'm being paraniod.
