That recipe looks just the sort of thing I would like.

Where do you get your lolly sticks from? We used to have a tupperware lolly kit when I was young and I was just reminiscing about it the other day!
Also remember those ice lolly things you used to buy to put in the ice box (we didn't have freezers in those days!) that were long, thin clear plastic filled with red or green liquid? They didn't exactly taste of anything other than 'red' or 'green' but they were fun - we used to suck all the colour and sugar out of them and be left with a stick of ice!
S'pose I'm showing me age now!

you can buy wooden lolly sticks and the tupperware type containers on e-bay still. I know plastic is the source of all evil but I reckon they're actually the best if you're going to use them for years because they do last and the sticks are reusable too
Pimms slush puppies are very good, btw. We didn't leave it long enough to see if it would freeze completely but I think it probably would be a decent sorbet (just Pimms and fizzy lemonade)

ice dessert for the grown-ups
not quite an ice lolly, but you can make a granita (like sorbet, but more crystals in it) just by making a simple water-syrup, mixing it with a bottle of Gewurtztraminer wine and freezeing it for a few hours (not overnight) in a wide shallow tupperware container. When you're ready to eat it, just slush it up with a fork to break up the ice-crystals and serve. Great for summer, and you can pretend that you're not actually boozing!
