Pumpkins again

Post: # 26397Post chadspad »

Hiya,
Ive just noticed that some of the leaves on my pumpkins plants are no longer there! These are the leaves that were at the tops of the plants, the original bits that went into the ground, all the leaves on the runners are still fresh and green but the others have withered seemingly overnight. Is this normal when the plants are fruiting as mine are to allow more energy into the fruit or is there something wrong with them?

Sounds fairly normal - plants shed leaves as they finish with them - eg the lower leaves on tomato plants. Nothing to worry about I think.

No mate, no worries, sounds pretty standard to me!
