This is the site supporting the rerun of the original 1831 Clifton crossing competition one of the many events celebrating the 200th birthday of the great engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel. The competiton is closed to new entries, however the judging continues. (You can vote for your favourite design on the website)



The Environment Agency celebrates its 10th anniversary just as Brunel hits his 200th! To recognise these dual milestones the Environment Agency's Bristol office is delighted to support the Clifton Crossing Competition and will present the £5,000 first prize at the awards dinner on 6 July.
