Nice one, would make a good strawberry planter,to avoid watering prob2 plastic downpipes either side of centre piece drilled several times ,the length of the pallet, fill with clean aggregate or similar, water down the tubes.

Good idea. I've got one random pallet in the garden and I don't think it's ever going to be dismantled for anything.

I thought this use looks so nice and great use of space.

I like this. My daughter's just got her first garden and it's very small. Part of it is taken up with a small, enclosed patio, so this would be great against one of the walls.

I was given some long, narrow pallets a couple of years ago. I stood them up, lined them with old feed bags and planted up. They work well for deep rooted veg, I'm going to try carrots in them this year.

Zoe I think I like your feed bag idea better. Not that I have any but compost sacks would do. That membrane looks a bit fiddly and I don't have a staple gun so would have to tack it on.

Compost sacks should be fine. Punch a few small holes in the lining to stop it getting waterlogged.
