Re: work from home without my head exploding?
Have been 'about to open' my Folksy shop for heaven knows how long - hence the note to self about not fannying about any longer! Thanks for your interest Sue - there are a few bits on www.starjumparts.com which is my blogsite (much in need of updating. Thanks for the gentle reminder!

Re: work from home without my head exploding?
I love this thread, I stumbled across it and it led me to investigate the rest of the forum. I had a good laugh when I read it as it is a question I have asked many times in the past. Nowadays, I just concede that my head exploding is just part of life. It is easier to just accept that there is no magic bullet and no way to wall out the rest of the world while I am trying to be productive. The phone is still going to ring, the e-mail is always waiting for response and the kids are going to get sick, that's life. Take a deep breath, re-focus and move on is the best answer I have found thus far. If it was easy, they wouldn't call it 'work' and everyone would make a living from the dining room table. P.S. If it is any consolation, those who think they found the magic bullet usually use it on themselves.
