Hello from South East Bristol

Hi there
Been hovering around the edges of this website for a while and decided to register. So hello from me. The selfsufficientish things about me are : I am a new allotment holder, my back garden contains 11 rescued ex battery hens, I own 3 ferrets but not for hunting (I don't eat meat). I have a second hand greenhouse which needs reglazing in parts which I grow salad in and I do a little foraging in the autumn (but hope to do more soon). I'm currently looking into making my own booze (I have Andy's book), I already make my own bread and cakes but not much else. Want to start making my own preserves, chutneys etc this year.
