Man, I am happier than a pig in the proverbial. We've just spent the last of the money we had saved for our honeymoon on one of these... here in a month.

I'm so excited, and I just can't hide it..

Never mind the computer! Where am I going to put the hammocks and drinks trolley?

Don't be jealous. You are more than welcome to come and help me weed it anytime you like  From memory, once mum and dads PT's arrived (3 of them!!) we never saw the outside world again. It was weeding in the morning, weeding in the evening, weeding in the midday sun.....

Oooh, fabulous. Is it as big as the one in the picture? That will be amazing!
Where did you get it from? Will you have to construct it yourself?

What about your honeymoon though? Are you already married? Hey, I wouldn't give up my honeymoon - you'll at least have to go camping!

Yes, we got married in January this year and although the date had been planned for a year or two, me being 35 weeks pregnant hadn't  So we put the honeymoon off until October this year. Good job really, baby arrived 17 days after the wedding. Anyway - the cooker blew up the other day so we had to spend some of it on a new one anyway - so thought, well, we need a PT...so honeymoon now - we are going on a canoeing trip instead (to be honest, thats more my cup of tea than beachlife anyway)

My one is 10ft x 25ft (smaller than pic - think thats 14ft x 30ft - but couldnt find pic of mine) but is the same spec, overhead watering etc. Its going next to the veggie patch so we'll have patch and tunnel and greenhouse! Got it from a local'ish company and I'll post the addy later. Yes, we have to contruct it ourselves but thats no problem.

Tigerhair - well, am going to try and do it myself without resorting to buying plasticy stuff but if it gets too much........well......

Wow! That looks like a small house!

Folks could live in things like that with the right weather. I am surprised people aren't installing them in caravan parks over here, or in backyards as temporary bungalows...

Congrats Jo! What do you do with them? Raise beds in there, Shelves for pots or plant straight into the ground? And how long do they last? Do they come with some sort of life expectancy?

I spoke with someone in the US about something like that a fair while back. I think they call them hoop houses over there. Not sure if its the same thing, but it looks like it might be.

How fantastic - I dream of the day I have space for a PT - I miss the greenhouse we had in London (mum has filled hers with a millions empty plant pots so my courgettes are shivering outside, and my toms will be the size of ball-bearings if they ever grow!). I keep walking family members past these mini plastc greenhouses at present buying times, but still end up with body creams and hat and scarf sets...
