Hi everyone, I am Lauren and I live in Sydney, Australia with my husband, two boys (2 and 5mths) greyhound and guinea pig.
We are slowly switching to a more sustainable and self sufficient lifestyle for health and environmental reasons. Our biggest purchase has been our solar panels which will *hopefully* totally cover our electricity bill plus some more, we are cloth nappy users (love them!) and aiming to be totally self sufficient in veges by early next year (once we have fully expanded the vege garden)
We are only on a standard suburban block (500sqm) but my grand plans are to include chickens, bees and a rainwater tank (another big purchase we just can't afford at the moment). As i am off work with the boys, i try to make most of our stuff from scratch (bread etc) but still don't consider myself very good so hoping to get some tips!
