Gunners Chard for dinner...!
Gunners sent me some Chard seeds and some turnips and I have just harvested some.
I cooked my first batch of chard last night and it was delicious.
I fried a red onion and a clove of garlic in a little oil and butter, then sauteed the chard stalks for about 10 mins, followed by the chopped leaves on top. It was so tasty!
Just thought I'd share that with you. 8)
Talking of gunners, anyone seen him recently or do you think he's infront of the telly watching the footie?

Let's ALL pm him! That'll confuse him!
I'd noticed he hadn't been doing his allotment updates recently.
I reckon he's planted so much stuff he is bogged down with it all - as well as watching the football.
As for spinach beet - still using up last year's! This year's has been going to the chickens so far!
