I need to find a butcher...

Do you keep livestock? Having any problems? Want to talk about it, whether it be sheep, goats, chickens, pigs, bees or llamas, here is your place to discuss.

I need to find a butcher...

Post: # 239106Post arwelcoed »

Hi guys,
As it says above... I need to find a butcher in the birmingham area, who can deal with lamb and pigs once they have been slaughtered. So the next question is where is my nearest abattoir or butcher that can do it all inhouse. I will thank you in advance for any help!

From experience you need to speak to locals, as the quality, price, and the amount of your own meat you get back can vary tremendously.
Go to Yell.com and pick some local farmers, just ring them up and ask, if you are polite and catch them at a good time, it is surprising how helpfull some can be.

No I won't use a smiley because I've decided to turn into Boboff, as he's turned all nice all of a sudden. Grumble grumble.
