Hello from Ireland (another).

Post: # 230229Post Crywolf(ish) »

Hi everybody,

I have a regular job, a regular family (if such a thing exists) and a regular home (kinda), all within 20 minutes walk of Dublin City centre.

What makes it my little piece of heaven (apart from my regularlly wonderful family) is the woodpellet stove, the chicken coop with it's six little bantams, the vegetable plot & little greenhouse and the giant rabbits I breed to sell or for meat, plus the home-brewed beer and wine and my own baked bread!

The fully self-sufficient life on five boggy acres in Leitrim might be a while away yet, but in the meantime, I'm trying to do my bit . . .

This is a great site and thanks to everyone for contributing; I've really enjoyed browsing around.

Kind regards,

Hi there and welcome
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!
