Hello new around here!

Post: # 226646Post Arbor »

Hello I am female and living in the middle of England.

I currently work full time as a Teaching Assistant, but dream of the day that I can reduce my hours and allow my inner 'ish' to be completely unleashed. I am also a trained Forest School Leader which allows me to take Primary children outdoors to learn about the joys of nature and to enjoy playing and learning outdoors.

Fortunately I have long summer holidays and am able to grow some produce in my tiny suburban garden. I sew, knit and make do and mend and love creating meals out of the leftovers in the fridge.
My husband is wonderfully practical and has a garage full of stuff that he has rescued from skips, car boots and factory closures. He is currently refurbishing a hand powered Engraving machine - no idea why!!

I have really enjoyed reading the stories of people on these forums. I am amazed by how much you have achieved.

Hoping for further inspiration and information.

Thankyou :salute:

Hi there and welcome
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!
