I'm a 34 year old Postgraduate currently finishing (or at least attempting to!) a Masters in Environmental Conservation Managment. I currently reside in Essex, with my two cats (Z and RW) and my two coldwater fish (Avi and Twoface). I found this site several years ago while trawling the web for a good elderflower cordial recipe and keep coming back for more tips and recipes.
For most of my life i've been of a thrifty, self-sufficientish nature (it all started at my grandmothers knee ), and my current course has strengthened my resolve even further. I can regulary be found making preserves, cordials, herbal remedies, making clothing from old items (even duvet covers and sheets) and gardening....i'm never happier than when I have a garden full of fruit, vegetables and my medicinal herbs.....though at the moment this can't be so
