I'm with you there, Martin, loads of happy memories of blazing heat on Cape Tribulation (NE Australia) - with Bob playing loudly on the stereo. Lazy music is the order of the day when the weather is like this...

Yep, certainly Bob weather. Torn between Exodus, Kaya and Rastaman Vibrations albums, though.

Yep Bob's greatest hits, also Ska Mania (Compelation), Sounds of the Suburbs(compelation).

Unfortunately we also use these discs when we're decorating/DIY, as they are up beat and energising, so I have a slight negative connotation associated with them!.

So you know how great Salsify is as a veg, what about Cavero Nero,great leaves all through the winter , then in Spring sprouting broccolli like flowers! Takes up half as much room as broccolli

Oh good thread!

Either Gomez (any album) or Leftfield (anything from Leftism album) for me. Both remind me of glorious weeks of sunshine, beach parties, climbing and surfing (badly) *sigh* ...

Pretty obvious - Summertime, Gershwin. Made up a Scottish version of words, too:

Summertime, and the living is easy;
Salmon is jumping, and the barley is high...
