get rid of rubbish ?
I used to have aviaries in the back gdn and when we built them, the spoil was dumped behind them, creating a mound about 3ft high and 5ft long , along the back field fence. Mainly big lumps of turf, with weeds all over it. Now I need to flatten this mound because I'm getting chickens on that patch of ground. How best to do this? I dont know where to start

Re: get rid of rubbish ?
Sorry but it sounded simple. If you removed the heap to create the averies then can you not just pull it back into the hole created by the averies? If you have the cash[ and I don't know how much they cost to hire ] then a mini digger and driver for a 1/2 day could do the job, you might need a skips if you want rid of the soil which down here is about £100 a day.
