Hello!

Post: # 22045Post Delphinum »

 Hello!
I found your site whilst trying to get ideas for edging our pond! I'm loving the tadpoles we have in it at the moment and I want to give them a safe way of getting out once their little legs start to grow.
I'm Angela and I live in Kirkby Woodhouse, north Notts with my husband, 2 dogs and 8 rabbits...
We're currently doing our house up to sell and have been tackling the garden for 2 years... which was a jungle when we moved in! We've grown a few veg for the bunnies, carrots, cabbage and herbs and some peppers, sweet peas and tomatoes for ourselves so hopefully we'll get some more ideas from this site. We're also looking for ways to make less of an impact on our environment, so we're composting like mad (especially with all that bunny poo! :tongue6:) and cutting down on the water we're using. :flower:
Anyways, nice to meet you all!
Angela

Hi Angela,

Welcome to the forum! If you are selling your current house - will you be moving somewhere even nicer with an even larger garden???

Hi Angela

Welcome!

I thought one rabbit made enough poo! (our little Frank died last November aged 11 and half) Not a bad innings eh?

Do your rabbits scoff everything in site if you let them out for a run?
If in doubt ~ use a hammer!

Hello Muddypause... Nope, nope, haven't lost an 'i' anywhere... it's 'num' not 'nium'. Long story short, it's a shortened version of my old chat name Delphine Angua Von Uberwald who is a character (werewolf and city watch sergeant) in Terry Pratchett's Discworld books. 8)
G'Day Wombat! I was just in Sydney on honeymoon. Fab place! Obviously we only saw the touristy bits, but will definately go back for another holiday when we can scrape together some cash! 8)

Muddy - you are just a funny bugger.

Cracks me up.

Now I forgot what I came here to post... still laughing about that other one..

Welcome Delphi!

- oh I remember -

Sydney. You'll be hard pressed selling me Sydney Delphi. I moved there once and ran away 3 weeks later. Awful place, I thought. I hope you got to see a bit more of Aus than just Sydney, cos we have some gorgeous country here and some funky weird things... like big pineapples, giant ned kelly's, underwater observatories etc. I have absolutely no idea how my earth loving mate Nev lives there, but I have noticed he scoots off a lot, so that probably makes it a bit more livable.

Ah, but you are in Mooning mode? That probably explains it... Everything looks good when you are in lurve.
Congrats and welcome.
