storing potatoes

in plastic crates/boxes, plenty of ventilation... in the garage.
extended subzero temperatures have spoiled nearly all of them.

What are the temperature limits for spud storage?

If it gets cold enough for them to freeze, you're knackered.
Cheers

We keep ours in plenty of straw in non-working old chest freezers (get them through FreeCycle?) and they've survived. The carrots are in clean, dry sawdust in old freezers and I've just brought some in - perfect. There were reported temperatures of at least -12ºC round here but I wouldn't think they'd survive much more than that. A few bales of straw around and on the freezers might be a good idea.
There is no question. Cap and Share or TEQs is the answer. Even Cap and Dividend!
