Hello Everyone!!!!

Hi all ,
my names Darren Im from Dublin in Ireland.
In the new year i plan to move to my site in county leitrim to live a more self sfficient life style...
I have already made some steps towards this move/adventure & i cant wait to get away from the busy life of Dublin.
Im sure you wil see me ask quite a few questions on here as i have little knowledge about what im doing lol..
but nothing ventured nothing gained i think lol
I plan on keeping my own livestock and am taking possesion of some chickens tomorrow to get the ball rolling. I also plan to build a wind powered generator, some solar panels and several other projects... Any advice welcomed..

So I look forward to chatting to you all at some point in time... Please stop by and say hello i dont bite lol

OOOOHHH wow im overwelmed by all the comments thank you All, its must appreciated.... this site seems to be like one big happy family.. so im glad now ive joined and look forward to posting some of my well adventures lol... and reading everyone elses too... Again Thank you All...

Post your photo on flickr (or wherever you choose) and check it's the right size (I can't remember the actual requirements but the medium size option on flickr seems to work. Then open your picture, right click on it and go to "view page info" and copy and paste the address here, with the image box round it.

Does that make any sense at all?

Or copy and paste from facebook/blog/website.... or just upload from your hard disk using the 'upload attachment' facility you will see in the reply screen - just below this box where I am typing (next to 'options'). But first your photo needs to be reduced in size to a max of 700 pixels width or it won't upload, so you will need a suitable photo editing program to resize.
