How could they :angryfire: They have put this on at the same time as Spooks, the only other programme worth watching! Suppose I'll have to watch one on BBC iplayer

Blummin' BBC iPlayer! :angryfire:

I can't use that from here - I just get the message: "You do not have the right to view from your location"

So, if something is on BBC, but not on BBC Northern Ireland, I can't watch it!!

Anyway, I was just saying.....

Julie - just went to set sky to record it and discovered it's not on BBC2 Scotland (at that time anyway) - so we've set it to record off BBC2 England and noticed it's on BBC2 NI at the same time!

So you shall go to the ball (or the TV anyway)

Next time you go to the UK Julie, get yourself a Freesat box in Argos for £30.

You can then watch BBC1,2,3,4, ITV1,2,3,4, Channel 4,E4,More4, channel 5 etc, etc, for free, for ever.

They are 2 mad people. They did a program called the supersizers go... about what people ate in different periods, like the Tudors, the Victorians, the romans etc. They would spend a week living the life of the grand people of those days and stuffed their faces with all type of sometime wonderful things and some time some seriously horrid things... I have to admit, they made me laugh as both of them have quite colourful language... I would think that the good life tribute will be everything except a real proper tribute, but it may be funny. Well I hope....

Maggie, it clashes with the 2 weekly programmes that hubby really enjoys that we have to watch/tape.... I shall have to have a look & see what ones are repeated & when!

Tony, I'm not sure Andy would let me get one - we have 2 sky+ boxes & after insisting on having a certain package, I still don't watch the programmes that I should be - but you never know.... as for the next time I'm likely to be in the UK... hmm... that's up to the MIL & her 'demise' (well overdue IMO)

If you are paying a Sky subscription then I don't understand why you can't get all the BBCs? :dontknow:

I don't pay any more but still have the Sky box plus a card which works and we can get any BBC or ITV should we want to.

I'll probably record this programme cos OH watches Spooks and it's past my bedtime here anyway (one hour later). As I said on the other thread I only know of Giles Coren from the F Word as a food critic.
