Hello from the tippedy top of new Zealand

Post: # 209535Post Darroch »

Hi, I thought I should join as we're trying to be a bit self sufficient.
I live on a very small farm, we have some cattle, chickens for eggs, ducks as pets because I can never find their eggs and a lovely organic veggie garden. I almost live in my veggie garden.
We collect rainwater for all our water needs - we have to as we're not on any mains water and have a septic tank system. We've got a woodburning range that heats the house ~ and free wood ~ cos our trees keep falling down.
I love it when we can make dinner and it's all come from us.

Hi

Hi there and welcome
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!

It looks lovely. :flower: Did you go up in a helicopter or do you have a conveniently located extremely tall tree?

hubby went up in a small plane! I'm a wee bit scared of flying so you can see me down on the deck if you look really closely!
