Not wishing to sound negative JK, but good foraging sites are usually kept quiet by those who use them.. You could try heading out of the main urban part of Yarmouth and look along the landward side of the sand dune/bank/hill things where the sand gives way to more dense scrub. It could be productive. Best of luck and keep us posted of anything you find.
Don't forget that some things can be found in town (waste land and places like that) too! I've noticed Shaggy ink cap mushrooms seem quite fond of city parks.
How about looking out for sorrel, nettles etc? They're always pretty easy to come across.
If you find anything interesting looking that you can't identify, post a photo and description on here- you'd be surprised at how many people like to help identify things!
Good luck and Happy Foraging! : )
I have noticed that there are quite a few apple trees growing along the acle straight, especially at the furthest end from Yarmouth.
The A47 is abundent with apple trees too.
We were ther a couple of weeks ago and the fruit trees that were accessable was awesome ... I drove my fella nut screaming look at the apple ... damson ... crabapples ... plums...
You you become quiet acomplished at spotting them after awhile ...good luck
our best bramble bushes are on an old steelworks site i'm still trying hard to find a walnut tree but they are scarce up north saying that i found a hornbeam tree in a beech wood and that is rare up here
