Actually - it was yesterday . I was ONE YEAR OLD (as member of this forum!)

Should treat myself to some :occasion6:

I also noticed that during this time I posted on average 5 posts per day

Good intentions for next year: Must get a life!

Bought myself a doughnut to celebrate - the really good, proper homemade cake will be eaten on Sunday, when - hopefully - we'll have an Aberdeenshire meeting!

At least is was a decent doughnut, from a local baker.

Now 'ang on a minute. Are you claiming an 'official' birthday as well as your actual birthday, like the Queen does?

I never did understand that; I try to have as few birthdays as possible each year.

But well done on putting up with us lot for so long.

Forget the actual birthday - at my age you've got to count too far to make sure you've got the right number of candles... But to be one again - that's worth it!

Happy Birthday Ina,

I had no cake here, so I had to make do with a bag of lollies and some icecream instead, but heck if there is a party, I'm in!

I never knew we had that many suitable emoticons!

Thank you very much for all your good wishes.

And Stew, as for putting up with you all for so long - you've been on a bit longer than me...
