Hello from Cher in France to everybody

Post: # 20691Post cherami »

My son and live on a smallholding in france and have been here since Christmas day 2004. We are much happier working on the land than running about as van drivers on the M25 :flower:

Hi Cherami, and welcome!

I'd hate to drive on the M25 on a regular basis... We don't even have motorways up here! Anway, I'm sure you've got the better kind of life now. Whereabouts is France 18?

Thank you all for your welcome. For ina 18 is in the center of France in the Black Valley (Cher) It is a rather forgotten part of France and as such is nice and peacfull, The main industry is farming, which is unfortunatly on the decline.

Ah, thanks! Yes, the forgotten parts of a country can be the nicest... Farming seems to be in trouble wherever you look. What do they (the remaining farmers) grow in that area?
