Skirt

Post: # 205484Post bonniethomas06 »

Inspired by the effortless creations of Mrs Flibble, I had bash at making myself a skirt. This is actually the second attempt, the first is NEVER seeing the light of day, let alone the WWW.

It was supposed to be a copy of a skirt in the Boden catalogue. I don't think they need to worry about being put out of business quite yet, but I am moderately pleased with it.

I think that's absolutely lovely. Also I have some Boden clothes (I live in Cambridge with an academic, I think it's compulsory  , also they do sample sales here!) and I don't think they're always that well made. I think your skirt is nicer :flower:

It's corduroy (I can never spell it right!), with a silk lining - it is for winter, y'know, to wear with really thick purple tights and nice warm boots. Oooh I can't wait to get all cosy and rugged up again. It also means those wibbly white legs can go back into hiding - Yesss
