Hello from Poole

Post: # 201443Post Renewable »

Hi
I am an MCS renewable installer based in Poole, Dorset . I install solar PV solar thermal and heat pumps. My electrical works are guaranteed for six years by the ECA . We are members of REAL (renewable energy association) . We are a small family company and our 17 year old son is currently doing an electrical apprentiship at Poole College with us.
At our own home we have a 2.5 kW solar PV system , a solar thermal system and an air source heat pump.
We were featured in the Bournemouth Evening Echo on June 16th 2010 as the most ECO home in Dorset. If you would like a copy of the advert please pm us your address.
We have no fancy ECO shops and no salesmen to pay for enabling us to keep our renewables installations costs down.
On a personal note I am renovating a 25 Acre farm in Brittany France, which I bought in 2009 and seemed a better plan than a pension scheme. I would like to keep bees but need to find out more and not too keen on the thought of being stung!

Hi and welcome! Where's you place in Brittany?

I don't collect people from Brittany (hell Maggie why would I want to, chat with enough of them on Brittany forums  ). There's only Mrs M and me who are regular contributors from this region of France.

HI there and welcome
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!

Hi ,
Thanks for the hello`s . My place in France is in St.Servais, near to Callac , area 22.
I bought in in 2009 . It is a four bedroomed farmhouse with 20 acres of fields and a five acre forest.
I have several resident ex UK neighbours who look after my place and a Breton farmer who uses the fields.
Probably going to have to spend this summer holiday repainting the outside as it was last done in 2003 , which I am really looking forward to !
