Hello from a granite dry Norfolk allotment

Post: # 201372Post Tru&Ad »

Good tidings folks,

My name's Adam and my partner's name is Trudy

We have recently moved in together and live in a village called Trunch near the coast in Norfolk.
I have managed to get an allotment which once it has rained and removed the granite from the surface, I shall be growing things. At the moment it's bone dry. I have managed to scrape a bit of soil from the top to get some peas in. Once it rains I shall plant some of the stuff we have in pots in the BG. Pictures might follow lol

We are trying to become "less reliant" on the MAN so welcome neighbours to offer advice and friendship.

Have looked at this site for a few years but circumstances meant no real point in posting

Anyways

 HELLO SS FOLKS

I started out with nothing and I've got most of it left !

If it's not on fire it's a software problem !

Do I have to ?????

Hi Susie,

My father lives in Cardiff and is wishing for rain also. I think you'll both be getting some sooner than us here on the East coast !!

Yeah, catch you around the boards

Hi, look on the bright side - there won't be any slugs around at the moment but your peas will need plenty of water, so hopefully you are in the lucky position of being able to walk up to your allotment every day.

Welcome from a little further down the Norfolk coast (Martham), on a morning that has thankfully brought some rain

Hello Tru & Ad, from Harling (nr Snetterton). Good luck with the allotment. :thumbright:
it's either one or the other, or neither of the two.

Welcome to ISH :flower:

Send any spare rain back over the way to us here in Leicester...we've had no real rain for three weeks now :(
